My LifeJournal: In Noctem

In Noctem

Carry my soul into the night
May the stars light my way
I glory in the sight
As darkness takes the day

Ferte in noctem animam meam
Illustrent stellae viam meam
Aspectu illo glorior
Dum capit nox diem

Cantate vitae canticum
Sine dolore actae
Dicite eis quos amabam
Me numquam obliturum

Sing a song, a song of life
Lived without regret
Tell the ones, the ones I loved
I never will forget
Never will forget

It's a beautiful song.
Played during the rolls of the credits.
I was trying to find out if its some kind of
Latin Christian hymn.
So far it doesn't seem so.
But if anyone really understood and its
some Latin Christian hymn, tell me!

My LifeJournal: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Everyone who reads would have this common thing.
When you read, its like you have a projector projecting
a movie onto the screen.
You create the faces for the characters, the settings,
their voices, their actions.
You imagine what kind of clothes they wear,
what kind of food they eat,
what kind of weather they are in.
You conjure up the entire book in your head.

But there's this problem we readers face.
Disappointment.
As the movies that adapts from these books,
can never match up to your expectations.
The cut up parts and of course, they can
never recreate the images you have in your head.

So after going around the bushes,
I would like and am glad to say, I enjoyed
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Why?
Maybe because I read that book like....
The same year Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was released.
4 years perhaps?
Hence. But I know they cut up a lot.
I wikied the summary of the story.

There was suppose to be a battle and chaos
happening in the walls of Hogwarts.
But I guess the director miss that essential, part out.
So disappointed.

Really, if I want to delve into it,
it'll take like a lot of my strength.

Nevertheless, I actually enjoyed it.
The cinematography,
The special effects.
The many witty, humour elements.
I couldn't stop laughing!
That almost won me over.
Although the last part left me really dissatisfied.

If you're watching it,

Watch out for Ron and Lavendar Brown's short relationship,

Felix Felicis,

Harry and Ginny's first kiss,

Luna Lovegood,

Sectumsempra,

Inferi-infested lake.

And the rest, just enjoy it.

Since I'd read, I had forseen or anticipated the inferi to be crawling up.
And I knew everyone else around me is going to scream.
And they all did.
I could actually feel the seats jerked.
Yeap, the effects was good.

And yes, they had all grown up.
Matured looking, broader chests and they're all bloody rich.
Ginny and Malfoy must have taken some growth hormones.
They shoot up like Jack and the Bean Stalk.
The Bean Stalk i mean.

Ouh, the movie started at 9.05 and ended at 11.25 ish.
The second hour went faster.
