Twilight.
So here's the thing.
I'm a sucker for really good books.
I'll create the characters, the way they look, walk and speak
I'll create the different scenes and feel the emotions pouring out from the words.
And because of this, I suffer.
Every time they made a movie out of a book.
From Harry Potter to AAC and finally to Twilight.
And because of this, i get very restless and fidgety at the theater.
I'll laugh at every corny moments.
I'll break down into giggles at the pseudo tender moments.
I'll snicker at details that just doesn't match my imaginations.
Indeed, I'm hard to please.
Anyhoots.
There were five parts i like though
1. Lying at the meadow.
2. The baseball match
3. The fighting scene
4. The last dance on the beautifully lighted patio.
5. All the intentional funny moments.
Lying at the meadow.
That was the only time i really felt their chemistry.
And it was really nice, and peaceful. Till the sunlight ruin things.
The baseball match.
Is freaking awesome.
I like it when Jasper somewhat twirl and flipped his bat.
I like it when Alice lifted up her right leg,
140 degrees straight when she pitched.
I like it when Rosalie's long hair moved with the wind.
The slow motion effects in the movie is breathtaking.
Simply awesome.
The fighting scene.
Perfect.
The last scene.
*Victoria's scene is redundant, so, not counted*
The patio was really beautiful.
So beautifully lighted up.
Well, I've decided.
I'll get married at night.
On a patio.
Magnificently, lighted up.
All the intentional funny moments.
Almost every action was funny. To me.
But the main funny moments are REALLY funny.
And i love every bit of it.
The joke on the multiple matriculation was hilarious.
And Edward's expressions when the family was talking about
vampire issues to Bella. Priceless.
Charlie is PERFECTLY funny.
The ridiculously, absurd, hilarious moments.
Needed to be pointed out.
1. When Jasper comes on screen, and he tried to hold his breathe,
he looked like he has vomit in his mouth and trying hard not to vomit
anything out.
2. I can see that Edward was slapped with a bottle of glitters. He really look ridiculous.
It's really weird. Especially when the sun made an entrance and it shone
only onto his face. Like wtf? That spoilt my favourite scene!
3. The build up to the kiss was daaamnnn long. Edward must have counted up till
20 before he lets his lips touch hers. And the silence was unbearable.
Catherine should have included their love theme during that long anticipation.
4. The many, many, many awkward pauses which i find really annoying.
5. I feel like cutting Jacob's fake, long extension hair. It really got on my nerve.
And doesn't he look like a werewolf? Perfect role indeed.
6. I really can't feel Robert and Kristen's chemistry. They didn't manage to bring out
the true emotions that Edward and Bella have for each other. But wth, Robert's hot.
And he's Bri-Ish.
And he plays the piano.
Well, I'll prolly purchase the DVDs. Just to watch the funny moments.
The movie felt like a parody of the book itself though. But i did somewhat enjoyed it.
And i caught the sneak preview!
Oooo, i watched on the date that was on the poster.
Awesome Mosome.
And I saw Stephenie Meyer being served at the diner.
=)
Read the book!
I'm an escapist of my own fantasy that I've created when i read.
