My LifeJournal: Beautiful Words

"El kalam law kan yea'abar a'an el hanan,
kont aolt eny bahebak men zaman."

Sherine - A'ala Baly
covered by Basma in Prima 8.

My LifeJournal : Aidiladha 2009

Nabil,4.

Kak Lin and her 2 children.

Nur Afiqah, 1.

Forceful pose.

My mak and Nabil.

My Mak and Afiqah.

Coconut tree on her head.

Cousins, nephews and nieces.

First sparklers for the night.

Blurred cos it was handheld!

Rings of fire.

So Syairah helped with the fire.

Bored Lunatics.
And they stick a pair of sparklers on their songkok.

And they tried with their initials.

My lovely family.

Sidins!

A star for Maya.

And another one.

Sunshine in the dark.

\/\/.

Never too old.

Dhiya loves sparklers too!

Such concentration.

So blur and cute.

Doesn't this look familiar?
Aidilfitri 2008?

My favourite cousins.

Bahebak.

Aidiladha 2009.
I had really great fun.
Just like every other time
when I'm surrounded with
the people I love.

We get to play with sparklers today!
Which allows me to take
some pretty f8 and above pictures.
Most of my f8 and above pictures
are blurred though!
But you can't blame me,
it was handheld!
It's really tricky.
The more I thought of
standing still, the more my hands
would shake involuntarily.

Cousin couldn't make it though.
He's having exams tmr.
Poor guy.
Haven't seen him in ages.

Oh, and we belong to the
Sidin's family.
My granddad's name.
We belong to his family.

=)

And I love my family so much, it hurts.
Bahebak.

My LifeJournal: 5 Million Dollar Crumpler

My first red 5 Million Dollar Crumpler.

Only $112.
A present for myself.

It fits Hadi, and my future lens and flash unit!

And yes, I saw my friend carrying it.
And I fall in love with it.
And the size was appropriate,
what with my intentions for upgrades.
And I thought it was pink.
But it was red instead.
But it's okay, red is the closest to
pink that I could get.

And I'm bringing it for Aidiladha.

Love.

My LifeJournal: Acceptance Letter

Long awaited acceptance letter.

I am really, really happy.
That I'd finally got my acceptance letter
into UniSIM.

Yea, yea.
I know. Some of you may scoff
at this meagre achievement.
It's not even in the Group of 8.
But nevertheless, I'm proud of myself.
That I'd finally get to further my studies.

And it did not begin with,
"We regret to inform you...."

Too many rejections.
And I'd finally gotten my acceptance.

الحمد لله

My LifeJournal: Ring as a gift

From my colleague.

Pink ring.

I got a ring from my colleague.
She's a girl, before you get any funny ideas.
And it's pink!

"Why did you get for me?"
"Oh, cos I saw that it's pink,
and it's sooo you!"

Touching. So sweet.
Such a nice gesture.
Never knew that someone is aware
that I love pink. =p

Yea, right.
I told everyone I like pink.

My LifeJournal: Gifts from Japan

From a village they visited.

From H&M Japan!

Yeap, My little gifts from Japan.
Thanks Abg Shahril and Kak Sarifah.

My LifeJournal: Star Academy 6 and Fringe

Despite the many weeks,
I'm still hung up on StarAc 6 students.

I love the songs which are on repeat,
everyday, on my laptop, my mp3, my mind.

And so, yet again, I have to blog about my favs StarAc 6 students.
In my earlier post about StarAc 6,
I had talked about my favourite student Basma.
Her beautiful voice matching her doll like face.
Her sweet, sweet relationship with yummie Yehia.
And remember I said that I like
Micho and Tania's rendezvous as well.

Yea, that's Michel Azzi better known as Micho!
He's only 20 but he's so manly. 0.0
Love.

Michel Azzi versus Joshua Jackson

Anws, if you watch Fringe, then you must know Peter Bishop.
Real name, Joshua Jackson.
Every Mon when I turn on to watch Fringe,
I will always be reminded of Micho.
Don't they just look soooo alike?
I really can't decide who'se actually cuter.
But one thing is for sure, Micho looks super yummie,
in the number with his sweethear Tania Nemr
in StarAc 6 Prime 13!

Enjoy.

Micho and Tania.

Sorry, I couldn't find a shorter version.
So you would have to watch the reportage.
You can otherwise skip and give their sweet nothings
a miss and go straight to 3:12.
So sweet nein?

And you can see Micho's mother, eyes full of pride,
as she realised how romantic her 20 year old son has become.

I bet Tania's sister was a tad jealous of how their love is
unfolding right in front of the eyes of 320, 768, 680 MEastern.
(presuming everyone watches it and yes, I had exclude the population
from Saudi Arabia cos i got a feeling such shows are banned)

Sighh...sweet, sweet love.

Star Academy 6 Finalists.
From Left - Ibrahim (3rd), Basma (2nd), Abd Al Aziz (Winner), Michel Azzi (4th)

Maya loves. =)

My LifeJournal : Poly Memories

W36H.

I was interviewed for the Teenage Mag.
Trust me, neither do I buy nor read them.
It's really a waste of money.

But nevertheless I was interviewed.
And I was supposed to send in some pictures.
Hence I got home and look thru the many shots.

And I realised how much I missed my poly friends,
the lessons and the class work, the competitiveness
and the grades I'd attained.

One of the question asked was,
"What was the most memorable event during my poly life?"
And somehow the story of the last day of 2nd Year,
rDNA class and we were cam-whoring.

But truth be told, there were just too
many sweet memories.
And I wished I get to go through
the 3 years all over again.

My LifeJournal: Owl City

Owl City.

I had really enjoyed Adam Younge's Fireflies.
It took some time for me to truly enjoy the song.
And when I'd finally immerse myself in it,
I realised how much I love it.

It makes me think of happy stuff.
Frolicking across the green meadows,
blowing bubbles in the air,
bare feet wet with dew.
It's such a happy feeling.

And I like happy.
Hence I like Fireflies.
Oh, you should try
The Saltwater Room.

Nice, with the strum of the guitar.

My LifeJournal: Reunion

Reunion.

It was actually a portfolio event.
But it double up as a day for me,
and the alumni.

The event was an expected failure.
But nevertheless, it was all for great
company and performances.

Surprisingly, most of them who attended
are the guys from my cohort.
Neither my classmates nor my coursemates.
They were all my schoolmates.
The sort you only meet once a week
for 1 module that semester.

They might not know me,
but they are oddly familiar to me.
To my surprise, 2 of them actually
acknowledge me for know me from somewhere.
1 of them felt guilty for not knowing my name.
But that's forgiveable.

You remember the smart one.
You remember the nice one.
You remember the one with the girlfriend.

It was interesting.
And it brought back sweet memories.
And I wished that my dear classmates had came,
and we busk in our memories and laughter.

Oh well.

My LifeJournal : 2012

2012.

Fantastic movie.
Got to watch it on Opening day!
Long, but it was exciting.
Surreal.

And I was tearing at every scene.
If that was to really happen,
What will you do?

Trade your place for the Chinese worker,
who was working on your ship?

Trade your place to save your children?

Open the gates to let the rest in,
even though a huge tsunami is sweeping
any time soon?

Oh well, we won't know.
Cos when Doomsday actually comes,
everyone will only want to save themselves,
and who will survive?

No one.

Nevertheless, fantastic show.
Everyone should watch to enjoy
the CGI packed movie.

My LifeJournal : Star Academy Lebanon

I love Arabic songs.
Their songs are beautiful,
Their singers can sing,
Their singers are really gorgeous!

And I started with Nancy Ajram,
Followed by Haifa Wehbe,
And now, the students from StarAc.

Star Academy LBC is a pan-Arab televised talent show.
They put all other talent show to shame.
Even AI, I must say.

Because, these contestants get to perform on stage with various
designs, dancers, solo performances, acapella on piano and duetting
with other popular singers.

It's really fantastic.
They have a huge stage.
And every week, their numbers undone
the previous weeks!

And the ME guys are really yummie.
The girls are equally gorgeous.
And with that, I leave you
with my most favourite item,
by my favourite StarAc 6 student,
Basma, who should have been 1st,
but got 2nd instead.

But that's what you call fairness.
She's gorgeous, she has beautiful voice.
If she had won, then life must be really unfair.

Basma - StarAc Prime 14

Now, that you've listen and watch this,
You should continue with the other videos
on the bottom of the youtube page.

And did I mention that she was 17 at
that time she was performing?
She and Yehia looks gorgeous together.
So does Micho and Tania. :)

Talented, nein?

My LifeJournal : 1-4 Nov 09

My LifeJournal : My Mumy's B'dae Gift

A look into Mumy's Carlo Rino Jewellery Set.

The outer face.

3/4 drawers that they have.

The different compartments.
Don't mind my feet.

It lacks a rotating ballerina.

Mini box inside the big one.

The whole set!

Yeap, I got that and a CR purse.
From my brother and I.
I matched for every dollar he forked out.
And we managed to get these!

Though there are more compartments
than what is needed.
But it's okay.

It could be pass down.
I can settle for the smaller box.

My LifeJournal: Keeping it in the Family

While all this was going on,
Fleur and Jean were being plied with drink.
Every time Fleur said no,
she was badgered into drinking more.

"Ah, go on, Flower, get that into you.
Sure you'd die of thirst."

Jean's wine was grabbed from his hand
and a whiskey put in its place.

"Have a taste of that, John," Tadhg said.

HAHAHA.

Hilarious.
Her parents are Irish.
His parents are somewhat french.
But her parents called them Flower and John!
Instead of 'Fluh-r' though it means flower,
and 'Zhahn'!

=)

My new favourite author, Sinead Moriarty.
And I found 3 other of her works at the Lib!
