But I like the whole feel to it.

I love this song and this band.

I like his distinct voice.
I like their other song "Again".
I just love them.
I'm just looking for their lyrics now.




I wonder why i love Korean Indie bands so much.
I guess, their haunting numbers calms me.

Am i outdated or something? I was browsing through YouTube and found damn good videos.
I've never heard of them until today. And i hold strongly to this believe, they're the THING.
I thought that their cover was better than the originals.
I support undiscovered great talent.
If you were listening to this, you'll realize something.
He has great studio-like voice.
I like.

Sweeney Todd.

I finally watch Sweeney Todd at the theater. A masterpiece i must say. Filled with a little humor here and there and a whole load of "chilli sauce" blood every where. It's just like Johnny Depp to take up such roles. That is so him. Reasons for me liking Sweeney Todd:

1. There's some gore in it - the minced body part are gross.
   
2. It's a freaking musical.
3. A story of revenge with a dose of humor.
4. Johnny Depp.
5. Johnny Depp singing.

And if you're observant and an avid Harry Potter fan, you'll notice something.
Mrs. Lovett is Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter.
Judge Turpin is Severus Snape in Harry Potter.
Beadle Bamford (Judge Turpin's sidekick) is Peter Pettigrew in Harry Potter.

I first heard their songs on Coffee Prince OST.
I fell instantly in love with the entire album.
Because almost 70% of the songs are of indie genre.
That's how i like my music

Melancholy lyrics.

My LiveJournal: Sepet, Gubra, Mukhsin

I can never stand watching a Malaysian movie.
No offense, but i find it really, really dumb.
I don't get it why people think it's hilarious.

But i know Sepet would be different.
And i was right.
Beautifully written.
Touched on real issues which had long been forgotten.

I appreciate good stuff.
So I went out to buy all three of Yasmin's movies despite already watching it.
Good stuff should be bought and stored at home.

There was this one scene that i like.
The one where Orked's parents were playing scrabble by the frontyard
And her Dad put out 4 letters "MILF"
His wife was like "what's that?"
"Mothers I Like to ..."
"Ohhhhh"
That was cute.

I like the jokes she adds in, the issues she touched on,
and the occasional pauses between Orked and Jason.
It really reflects how nervous and awkward first dates are.

And i like Jason. Because he's cute.

Gubra is a sequel to Sepet.

But sadly, Jason's gone.
But that's Jason's back.

But Jason's brother, Alan appeared.
He's cute too.

One of the scene i like was the part where Orked
confronted her husband who was having an affair.
"Eight times. You did it Eight times!"

The semiotics.
The symbolism.
The underline meanings.
The humor.

I miss Jason.

Yea. You guessed it.
That's Jason.
And that's Orked.












I have yet to watch Mukhsin.
So i can't say much about it.
But I trust Yasmin the Storyteller.

Tokio Hotel.

I've heard their albums. Actually, i have their albums.
First English Album: Scream
Zimmer 483 - Live in Europe
I got it for myself as a B'dae present.


They are really young, between 19-21.
But they make great music.
Zimmer 483 is in German though.
Despite not understanding the songs, i feel the German versions are better.
When you're not listening to the lyrics, you'll appreciate the music better.
I love Tokio Hotel. Period.

I've heard about 7 songs from his latest album and i must say, he's goooood.
He touched on different genres, though some was too much like Justin Timberlake.
But i like it anyway.
Breathless and Damage are my favourite.
