Actually, theres a lot to say abt cameras.. so I'll just say it here.
CANON
I'd go for 400D for budget & 40D for quality. Both are good cams but I'm not such a big fan
NIKON
A D60 is a good budget entry-level but a D80 is wat i wold go for or a D300 for quality (since most Nikons have Sony Image sensors, you're practically buying a Sony 0;p)
SONY
A200 is a Cam dat dominates the entry level & a few mid-level DSLRs
I can say alot abt this cam cos I've compared its specs against Nikon & Canon. & cos I'm using one
A200 would be budget, A300 too but w the advantage of liveview. one good thing abt its liveview is.. Tilt LCD and 2nd fastest autofocu liveview in the world.. Olympus is probably having the fastest liveview autofocus. FOR NOW.
Of course the A700 is a much powerful camera. Your choice in Sony is A200 & A300. Both will not dissapoint you.
Just post in ur next blog the cameras you like, & ask other photogs to comment on it in the comments section. Dat would be a fair thing to do. Since I'm very much biased to Sony =)
