My LifeJournal: Singapore F1 Night Race

Singapore F1 Night Race 2009.

Okay, I had to agree,
With the rest of the world.
F1 Grand Prix without a doubt,
rocks.

The feeling is similar,
to when I was pumped up
with watching the Olympic Games and FIFA.

I was glued to the TV for 2 hours,
watching the cars zoomed 61 times.
And surprisingly, it was not a bore.

And with that, I vowed.
I'm so going to the next race.
Next season of course.

Weeeee,
So exciting.

254 more days to FIFA,
YOG, from 14 Aug
F1 Night Race (I hope)

2010 will be sweet.

And Jenson Button's GF, Jessica Michibata is hot.
So's Sebastian Vettel.
Only 22 and his freaking racing.
Jealous.

If I could,
I'll go karting everyday!
The adrenaline rush.
is to die for.

Alright, back to Charlaine Harris's.

My LifeJournal: Nachos and Cheese

Yummy!

As most should know,
I am Cheese No. 1 fan.
I L.O.V.E Cheese.

What more, Nachos and Cheese from GV.
My Favourite bunch.

And Hadi brought it for me!
Just for myself!
HAHAHA.

When I came into the office this morning,
I was wondering why there was a brown-orangey
parcel on my desk.

I squealed the moment I realised
it was a BAG of cheese.

:D

Sure, I'll share.
The moment I find an auspicious timing,
for the opening ceremony.

The little things that keeps me sane.

My LifeJournal: My Love

I have an obsession.
Of reading books.
Buying, reading, displaying books.

Of course, I only read fictional books.

And I think I'm the only one,
in my entire family who reads a lot.

If reading is hereditary,
then I must have possessed
a mutated gene.

I remembered vaguely,
starting off with the Ladybird Books.
followed by Enid Blyton Books.

And now, I'm reading
Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse Series.

And once I'm done with that,
and what with The Lost Symbol finally out,
I'm going to start on Dan Brown's
Robert Langdon Omnibus.

Gotten The Last Symbol,
And finally found Angels and Demon
(with special illustrations).
Still scouting for The Da Vinci Code in Hardcover.
The Last Symbol movie in 2012!
Can't wait.

Below are the names of the authors,
whose books I adore.

CeceliaAhern.J.K.Rowling.StephenieMeyer.CharlaineHarris,JenniferWeiner.
SophieKinsella.AudreyNiffenegger.DanBrown.Etc

Indeed I'm a book freak.
I have certain standards that needs
to be met before I buy the books.

Hence, I went to Town all alone.
Went to Borders at Wheelocks,
Kinokuniya at Taka,
Times at Plaza Singapura.

Why?

Cos, it's the time of the year,
when I'm feeling down and depressed and
only books can fill this void.

:)

My LifeJournal: Syawal 2009

My gorgeous red heels.

Indeed, Syawal had arrived,
replacing Ramadhan.

Proud that I had single handedly:

clean my room,

throw out 4 drawers of rubbish,

throw out my drawers,

lugged, spread my new bamboo carpet,

changed my curtain,

wipe the windows,

changed the bedsheet,

put up my 1 year overdued Ikea Star Fairies Light,

arranged my books,

lined my shoes.

And with that, I started off with my 1st day of Syawal.
A bit rushing, and I missed the golden opportunity,
to feast my eyes on Ustaz's ...

2nd day was much, much better.
Day well spent.

And with that, I start off with my pretty heels.

My LifeJournal: My Place

Nureen's late.

Drooling in her sleep.

Pink, purple and extra white.

Family picture!

Nureen, her tummy and the purple kebaya.

Blinded by the flash.

Sneaky sneaked a cookie.

Muruku chewed on 4 1/2 teeth.

His songkok is as big as Nabil's head and his songkok.

Due to the rush, couldn't seem to take that many photos.

My LifeJournal: The End

And there it goes.
Ramadhan left us again.
With 3 losts - 1st, 3rd and the last week.

I'm proud to say that I was better than the last.
And I hope I would be perfect with each passing Ramadhan.

I'm thankful for the blessings bestowed upon my family.
And I shall count the ways, how Ramadhan is my favourite month.

The struggle to wake up early.

The chance to break fast with my family.

The many occasion for the entire family,
to come together.

The sending of food around the North East region.

The sending of foodstuff around.

The weekly trips to Geylang.

The hustle and bustle of that place.

The coincidental broadcast of the Raya songs

The last minute shopping.

The terawih.

The chance to better myself.

The takbir.

The great opportunity to be
closer to .

This Ramadhan was a little bit special.
I guess really loves my family.

May I get to see another Ramadhan.
With my entire beloved family.

My LifeJournal: Al Fatiha

Al Fatiha

16 Sept, 26 Ramadhan.
And we lost someone again.
My maternal grandmother.

Bedridden for more than 2 years.
And today she peacefully leave us.

Though the COD was Myocardial Infarction.

Everyday I walked past her.
But I was always too busy to say Hi,
or to touch her, or to just look at her eyes.

But few days back, I had decided to do just that.
I stopped by her.
Looked at her. Stroked her hands.
Pushed her hair back.
And that was it.

And I continued through my daily routine.
Until today, when I got the news while at work.
I was shocked beyond anything.

Just this morning I heard my mom,
trying to make conversations with her.

And an hour later, she was found...

And everything else starts to kick in.

The initial cleaning up.
The calling of relatives from Msia, In'sia, ME.
The recitation of Surah Yasin.
The welcoming of guests.
The final respect being paid.
The getting ready for breaking fast.

May الله protect me, my entire family (living or deceased) and the people I love
from the punishments of the Jahannam, and the punishments of the grave.

Yeap, another test for my family and I.
That's the 5th passing on I'd seen this year.

Arwah Abah, Arwah Muhd Syafiq, Arwah Nenek,
And 2 others who are like family, Arwah Cik Jamal and Arwah Nek Semah.

The passing on of loved ones really pulls you down back to earth.
And الله loves us so much as to keep reminding us.
Though we had to go through some hardships,
He made everything fall into all the correct places.

Syawal, coming in 3 days,
would never be the same again.

I love my family so much it hurts.

My Lifejournal: Nancy Ajram

Nancy Ajram - Sehr Oyouno

Nancy Ajram - Lawn Ayounak

I'm officially in love with Nancy Ajram.
Her songs, her voice, her music videos,
Wonderful.

Above videos are two of the many which I love.
Both videos are so sweet, I could be diabetic,
after watching them zillion times.

Though the videos may not be related,
it felt like it was.
It tells a really sweet, beautiful story.

Of how she first met the really gorgeous guy.
The second is when they got married.
So interrelated.

Middle Eastern people are really gorgeous.
Sigh, I'm officially in love with the guy in the video.
Thick eye brows though.
But super hot.
And so manly!

So enjoy.

Here's Nancy Ajram for you!
